The attendee app: turning a visitor from spectator into participant

Ask anyone leaving a large exhibition what they missed. The answers repeat: a session they only heard about once it had ended, a hall they spent ten minutes looking for, an agenda sheet lost on day one, a presentation the speaker promised to "send later" that never arrived. None of this is an organising failure; it is an information gap between the organiser and the visitor. The attendee app was built to close exactly that gap.

It arrives on its own - nobody is asked to install it

The biggest obstacle for event apps is that they ask visitors to open an app store, search, wait for a download and create an account - before knowing what they gain. The usual result is a low activation rate and an app deleted two days later.

Ours runs straight from the browser. The moment a visitor registers - online or at the registration desk at the gate - they receive an email with their personal link. And when something changes - a session runs late, a hall moves, a workshop is added - the organiser publishes an instant alert from their dashboard and it reaches every attendee within moments, with a red dot on the bell for anything unread. That one capability replaces dozens of questions at the information desk and prevents twenty people sitting in an empty hall.

Map and files: the end of the information queue

The exhibition and hall map sits in the visitor's hand, not on a board with a crowd in front of it. The event booklet, exhibitor directory and presentation decks are PDF files downloaded straight from the app. What used to be printed and lost, or promised and forgotten, is now available at any moment.

From spectator to participant

This is where the app turns from an information tool into an interaction tool. When the organiser opens a poll, the audience votes from their seats and results appear live with animated counters on the big screen in front of everyone. A speaker asks the room a question and sees the answer in seconds. Post-session ratings land directly on the organiser's dashboard instead of paper forms nobody fills in.

And the QR entry badge stays inside the app permanently: scanned at the gate, and anyone who forgets their printed badge simply opens their phone for a replacement printed in seconds.

Two languages, two audiences, one interface

The interface switches between Arabic and English with a single tap - agenda, alerts and voting page included. An event with both local and international audiences needs neither two apps nor two content sets.

And your organiser controls it, not us

Everything the visitor sees is managed by the event owner from their dashboard: the introductory text, the agenda with its sessions, halls and speakers, alerts, the map image, files and guides, and the polls. The organiser writes and publishes, and the content reaches visitors in the same moment - with no app update and no store review to wait for.
